Peace on Earth

We don’t know what the day was like for Mary and Joseph when Jesus was born. Most of the time when a baby is born it bring forth a new life. A start of something new for the family and friends.

The events as told in Luke 2 and Matthew 2 are only to let us know how God was putting things into motion. How the scriptures of old was being fulfilled at that very moment.

Going back to the point when Jesus was born,who knew at that time what he would bring to the world. Today when a baby is born we don’t know of their potential, or what God has for their life. That is why each day the parents pray over the child, bless God for a new life and train them in the way they should go.

Many have lost their focus on what God had planned for then. We have to get them back on track so we can be used as a vessel. Life can cause people to get off the God given purpose but on thing to know if we have a heart and mind set on God, in the midst of the mistakes God can put us back on the road we gave gotten off of.

Jesus was born, yet it wasn’t the focal point. The life he lived and those teaching his did was a way to let people know of two things. Who he really is, who sent him, and the purpose of his journey on Earth. It was and still is to bring about salvation to the world.

He came that all may have live and to the full. When we start believing on the things of God more than the things of this world stuff start to happen. We see, hear, talk from a different perspective. We understand the truth day by day. We realize the importance of life and hope that Jesus has brought and will bring.

All of this is just a reminder Christmas is important because it gave life to the world because of what Jesus did bring and continue to bring. He death, burial, and resurrection was the other side of the coin that can bring us freedom, if only we believe and receive the fact. The fact is

Jesus came, he freed each person from their sin if they receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. To those who receive Jesus has the right to be the children of God. In other words as we come to Jesus and receive him. God now welcome us into his family. We are apart of the body of Christ.

When we are born to our earthly parents, we are part of the family. We share in all of the instructions they give us and the teaching. The way we learn from God is by reading and studying the word. For me to understand God I had to have a open mind, heart, and soul. In order for me to live a life worthy of him.

Finally the joy of Christmas is to know Jesus. To really understand that day he was born. It was to bring joy, peace and love into the heart of others, that otherwise would not have the understanding of God.

Christmas is the season of greatness so let’s spread God’s love all around the world.
