THE BIRTH IN BETHLEHEM

Today we will look back and why Mary had to go to Bethlehem. What happen while she was in that city. Then Saturday and Sunday we will be looking at the events surrounding Jesus birth.

We are looking into the prediction and the fulfillment of the events of the birth of Jesus Christ. We have concluded that many Old Testament scriptures was being fulfilled at this time. These factors include so far, where Jesus was going to be born,and how Jesus was going to be born. Today coming from Luke 2 we are looking at how it all came to pass.

And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. Luke 2:1‭, ‬3‭-‬5 KJV

How was Mary and Joseph was to have the Jesus in Bethlehem. It was all in God plan. When Caesar Augustus sent out the decree that all will be tax. People had to go back to their own city, he was about to fulfill what was written in the scriptures before hand.

God has a plan, when we don’t know how it will work out, God already has the solution. What we see he is God hand moving in all area and people not seeing things that was about to take place because they didn’t understand the truth.

They did made it safe to Bethlehem, but because they arrived later than expected no room was available. Therefore the birth wasn’t inside a normal building but in a stable, in the presence of all of what God created.

And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.Luke 2:7 KJV

Jesus is now born. The person who came to save Israel was born that day. Later to find out not to save just Israel but the entire world.
