This teaching isn’t on the future events put on the past events that happened long time ago. This was the story we forget the prophecy of the birth of Jesus, later to be known as Jesus Christ, The Messiah, The Lord and Savior of the world.
At Christmas time most reading is done in Luke chapter 1 and 2. To get the real understanding of it all Matthew chapter 1 and 2 also need to be looked at and see how things are started from.
First Jesus was in the line of Abraham and from the tribe of Judah. In all 42 generation from the time of Abraham to Jesus. This can be found in Matthew 1:1-17. Also in Genesis 12:3,22:18,17:19 49:10 and numbers 24:17.
This was on the record to see how thing was: in place as God promised Abraham he will be the father of many nation and it was through his seed that the world would be blessed.
and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.”

Jesus came through a line who forefathers had a heart to serve God. Yes some they followed God but yet sinned, but that didn’t stopped God from loving them and them loving on God. Jesus has people in his generation that you would not have believed they was in it but yet in some way had a hand in bringing forth the Messiah,Jesus the Christ into the world.
What was the prediction and the fulfillment it all within the book of Matthew, Mark, and Luke to see the true picture. The old Testament foretold of events to take place and the New Testament was the fulfillment of the things that was told
