WHO DO YOU SAY I AM? FOR I AM

To start at the beginning of one must see who Jesus really is. Let’s start first in the book of Revelation. Sometimes we must start at the end to really see the beginning.

Jesus said he is Alpha and Omega the First and the Last.

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and thelast. Revelation 22:12‭-‬13 KJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. John 1:1‭-‬2 KJV

To know Christ we must first understand who he is. The starting point is he is Alpha meaning he is the first of all. John testify this by saying he was in the beginning with God. For Jesus is also the word and in him is life. Also it claim that the word was God. In other words what Jesus said he was God is true. He was God in the flesh. Just like the son inherit his father genes Jesus also has the same characteristics of God. Therefore what Jesus said that he is God is true in a since.
I and my Father are one John 10:30 KJV

Jesus can say this because he and God are one in the same but yet different identity. Because it been said God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit all three are one. All one on the same.

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. John 8:58 KJV. What Jesus is saying here it just clarifies the claim in Revelation and support the fact in John chapter 1. Jesus been here since the beginning of everything.

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. John 4:34 KJV.

When God created, he wasn’t alone Christ was with him. The reason why he created man was to have fellowship with him. Because man lost his way, that bond between God and man was broken. Now Jesus was and is the way back to God. God work for Jesus was the death on the Cross so people could have that spiritual freedom God wants from man. God want to spend a relationship with us.

Jesus continues on saying a lot about himself in the book of John. To kick things off must understand who Christ really is and why he came to earth. To see and understand this will open your eyes, heart,mind and spirit to the truth about it all.

To conclude today we have to be reminded Jesus is God begotten Son, be was with God in the beginning, and continue to be with God all the time. God sent him on the mission to redeem the world from the sin they are in. His death on the cross was the way back to God. Yet to those who receive Christ has the right to be the children of God. To those who give their life over to Christ has eternal life. A life of everlasting hope. Knowing that one day we will be with both the Father and the son. Jesus will proclaim that he is Omega. He is the last among it all. When the new world began and old world end Jesus will make his point clear he is Alpha and Omega. The first and the last. The first fruit of all and the last fruit of all.

Know the claim this day Jesus is the Messiah, the Lord and King. He is God in the flesh and most of all he is the first of all and the last of all. He is the savour, and redeemer.
