ARE YOU HOT OR COLD?

Hot or cold? We ask people do they what hot or cold tea,coffee, milk or other beverages. Do you know we never ask people do you what your drink lukewarm.

Lukewarm is neither hot or cold, it is a little warm or at room temperature. God want us to be hot or cold when it comes to him and not in the middle of lukewarmness.

God well spit people out of his mouth when it comes to people who are lukewarm. Rev 3:14-16. We who are walking with Christ he wants us to be hot. Definition of hot is passionately enthusiastic, eager. God is letting us know we must be eager, or fill with enthusiasm when it come to serving him.

This come from the heart. This comes from a love. It comes from the mind and soul. When serving God it always come from the heart and not the lips.

To be hot for God is not from a form or act, but it is from a reverence of who he is and what he has done for us. In James 4:7-10 it reads as follows.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.James 4:7‭-‬10 KJV

Some keys to saying hot for God is. Submit yourself to God- surrender it all to him knowing who he is and what he has done.

Resist the devil. The one thing that cause us to fall is the fact Satan put thoughts and ideals in our mind. As we are walking with God we must resist, not give in to his lie or scheme of things. Once we do that he we see how stable we are in our mind for Christ and the things of God then he will flee.

Draw close to God and he will draw close to you. Like in all relationship as we draw closer to the one we love than they will draw closer to us. One thing about it is. God loves us more than we love him. So as we continue to submit to him and have a common bond than things will continue to flow.

Last think I want to say to is we have to humble ourself before God. It not our doing but God is doing the work through us. When we continue to see it all about God. Our lives will be lifted up and others will notice us in a way they never knew us before.

Again it all about having the right mindset. It all about loving the Lord and showing reverence to God in all that we do and say.

God want us to be hot for him. Have that enthusiasm for God, have the right form in serving him. Not out of a tradition but from the heart pure love.
