The meeting at night part 2 NO CONDEMNATION IN CHRIST.

What was the night time meeting all about. Do you know something they call meeting at night as mid-night rendezvous. People don’t want to be seen in the daytime together.

He we see Nicodemus meeting with Jesus sometime during the night. The reason behind this was he wanted to know more about this man Jesus. We saw yesterday the question came up in order to see the kingdom of God one must be born again. Jesus went on and told Nicodemus what it meant by being born again. This was saying we found in John 3:16 for it says

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 KJV

The key to seeing God’s kingdom is to believe on Christ and all he did and also his death, burial, and resurrection. Live your life for Christ because those who received him is now adopted into the family of God.

Most of the believers stop at John 3:16 and say all is good but Jesus had more to tell us and Nicodemus.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.John 3:17‭-‬21 KJV

Jesus was saying the above statement about those who are now believers in Him. We who have given our life to Christ is not condemned but are forgiven by the grace of God. Key points to take way from this is

1. Jesus came so we could be saved. Saved from the wrath of God at the end time judgement. Also to have a place in him so we can have that communication with God.

2. The Believers in Christ is not condemned, but have life in Christ. We no longer bound by the old nature or unrighteousness but we gave a new nature in christ. We are now born of the spirit not living by the flesh.

3. Jesus also went to say it those who don’t believe in me are already condemned. They are condemned because they don’t have the light within them. They are walking around dead to spiritual things of God

Are you living a life of freedom. Are you walking in the newness of life, knowing who God is and not being condemned by God but have the favor of God ( the F.O.G) on your life. Those who know Christ in the midst of it all have the light in them so others can see their way. You can tell them how they can get out of the bondage of sin, and not be condemned by God.

They key to what John 3:1-21 is to let Nicodemus and us know there is life in Christ. That life is eternal. All a person need to do us believe on Christ and the reason why God gave his only begotton son. Christ gave his life for the entire world so we could have freedom from sin and have a place in God’s kingdom. We who are in Christ is no longer condemned by God, but now have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Who is the Messiah, the Savior of the world.

The choice is yours to choose. Life or death, freedom or bondage, continue living a condemned life but a life of knowing you have the favor of God upon your life.

We don’t know what happened to Nicodemus, if he believed or not on the message that Jesus gave him. Not only that if he gave his life over to Christ. We see in the first part of John Chapter 3 he believed but not have the heart to confess Christ as the Savior.

Tomorrow we will be dealing with this message lip service or heart service. It’s a matter of life or death.
