Reflection- to cast a shadow on. A mirror image.
Today’s topic is taking the time to reflect on those things God has brought us out of. I can only talk about things God has done in my life to bring about change in others.
At the age of 9 almost 10 I almost drowned. That was the time I went to summer camp. The group I was with decided to go on a nature walk. One point we stop by a river, or a stream depend on how you look at it. I went a little bit to far and the ground I was walking on was no more. The people I was with saw what was going on they all came to my aid and rescued me from drowning.
As I reflect back on that day condition was right and a tragedy almost happen in my life. Just to write this is to say God hand was upon me that day.
Yes we might have gone to far in life, and it seems like the ground you are walking on just caved in. God is there with his hands and he wants you to take hold of them, in order for him to rescue you out of whatever it maybe.
To say yes I did something wrong that day you can say it to be true. The real thing I notice, even though I was wrong. People came to my aide to save me. Jesus will do the same for you. Jesus stands at the door and knock whosoever opens the door and let Him in, Jesus will come in and spend time with you. He will be your closet friend. He will be your joy in the midst of sorrow.
