And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
Revelation 6:9–11 KJV
Wow. The souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held are now under the altar of God. Three points to look at what is the altar of God. Who are the souls under the alter of God? Last thing is why where they slain. To understand all this one must first see God’s hand working and moving during the tribulation period. Yes, you can say many was killed because of their faith in God. Why are they under the alter and what is the altar of God. To understand what the altar of God is one must really know what purpose an altar was use for. The altar was use as a sacrifice back in the Old Testament. A place for atonement, a place of asking God forgiveness. As we investigate the New Testament Jesus Christ was the lamb, His blood was shed on the cross for our sins. The cross is now the ultimate place of sacrifice as well as the ultimate altar. Who is to say the altar is referring to Jesus, but it would a great place to be at the feet of Jesus. The souls are those who was slain because of belief in Christ doing this time.
The souls were killed because they refused to take the mark. They may not have believed before the rapture but during a period they came to know Christ and who he is. Two point to take with you is this they were killed because of their faith. They believe the word of God, but not only that they had a testimony of the accounts of overcoming things because of Christ.
In Revelation 6:10 -11 event was going on and they were. First, they knew what was taking place on Earth. So, they ask God, whom they recognize to be a Sovereign Ruler, and is also holy and true. How much longer will this go one. He is judging the world because they have turned their backs to Him. Each of them was given a white robe and told rest for a season. Just in the same manner they were slain or killed many other will be killed also. It will only be a season until all is fulfilled.
What a time this will be people robed in white, they are being set apart for a reason and a purpose. When I think of white also I think of purity. Now at this point you still see the love of God for the saints. He robbed the souls in white, not only this but the was under the altar. This is a major part of God letting us know there is still hope currently and point for others to make it into His kingdom.
What will be taken place would be the same as it was before. The world system of some sort is coming greater. Those who was converted are having a hard time of getting by. Food shortage and another thing will continue. The Mark or identification is coming soon, it could be optional at this point but soon it will be mandatory. Those who take the mark they have now submitted to the authority of the antichrist. Their fate is doomed.
Just as those stood under the alter of God. You can come to know and experience His love for yourself. I have no clue why I and posting things about the TRIBULATION but God will is for people to here and understand it now before it’s too late. That is how God works, he warn people of things to come, so others can come to him and receive Jesus into their life. You do this by asking Christ and confessing to him. I need a change in my life, Lord come in and be the change I need at this point and time, and forever more.
