Justify, justified and justification
Each word represent a meaning in the life of a believer in Jesus Christ
The root word is just the act or behaving in a way that is fair or morally right
The word justified mean
made righteous in the sight of God.
The word Justification means
THEOLOGY
making righteous in the sight of God.
Each word has to do with the root word right. Each word has its purpose in the life of a believer in Christ.
We can be just but not yet been justified. You can do all the right thing, but unless you been justified by God. To be made righteous, it’s not worth it.
The act of justification is done when we ask Christ to be the Lord and Savior over our life. After that point we are justified in Christ Jesus. We are made righteous in him.
One thing the law did was people was just righteous and mostly lived by faith in God. Yet they still walked in sin daily. Each day they had to go to the priest for their sins to be forgiven. When Jesus came he died once for all. All sins forgiven so than people can be justified in him. Walk freely in God’s grace. Galatians 2:16-17, Romans 6:10
His death on the cross justified us into the family of God. Titus 3:7-9
Now since we have the Holy Spirit, we are walking in the grace of God.
Knowing we been made righteous through Jesus Christ. It doesn’t mean we can do what we please. We have to do the work God has for us to do. Believing by faith and doing the work God put in us to do is the key to living a life of greatness.
Be justified is we are made righteous. Therefore being righteous mean we can walk in victory over sin. We are no longer slave to any type of sin or unrighteousness, but heirs of God and Co-heirs with Jesus Christ. Walk upright knowing we are and have been justified by the faith in Jesus Christ
